SmackDown siirtyy torstai-iltoihin (?)

Jokin kuukausi sitten huhuttiin vahvasti, että SD olisi siirtymässä takaisin vanhalle ohjelmapaikalleen tostai-iltoihin. Sitten huhut kumottiin. Nyt SyFy ilmoitti 12 Monkeys -sarjan alkavan SD:n nykyisellä ohjelmapaikalla perjantaisin. Näyttäisi siis siltä, että lopulta SD palaa kuin palaakin päivää aikaisempaan lähetysajankohtaan.

Syfy issued a press release late yesterday announcing that their new series "12 Monkeys" (based on the 1990s film of the same title) would debut on Friday 1/16/15 at 9 PM Eastern.
Obviously, that is the current WWE Smackdown timeslot, so unless there is a mistake in the press release, Smackdown is moving after all. The series was expected to move to Thursdays this month but Syfy re-shuffled their schedule and kept it on Fridays.

WWE vahvistaa että SD siirtyy pois perjantailta tammikuun puolivälissä, luultavasti torstaille. Siirron piti tapahtua jo syksyllä, mutta NFL:n torstaimatsit pistivät suunnitelmat uusiksi. Taisi muuten olla sama syy sille, miksi Impact vaihtoi torstain keskiviikkoon.

WWE sources are confirming Smackdown is moving in mid-January 2015 to another day, leaving Fridays.

We are also told Syfy likely held off on a move until after the NFL's Thursday night games were done on CBS and NBC.

The belief among those we've spoken to is that the move will be to Thursdays, although that we can't confirm that 100% as of this writing.

The theory among most people I talked to this morning concerning Smackdown is that as was announced previously they were set to move to Thursday nights this fall but CBS picking up NFL games changed things. To give you an idea how big the NFL is (for those who don’t follow it), CBS moved the Big Bang Theory to Monday nights until their 8 game schedule of games ends in October. Bang is one of their top rated shows. Football trumps all. I fully expect Smackdown to move to Thursdays after the NFL games end, which would allow it time to develop its audience on the new night without competing with the NFL behemoth.

En tiedä katsonko tästä huolimattakaan, mutta voisin kuvitella katsojalukujen nousevan jonkun verran, koska perjantai oli muutenkin huono päivä, jengi on mielummin radalla kuin himassa katsomassa pellepainia.
